North Carolina Board of Architecture welcomes Walter Sawyer, AIA, NCARB
Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Walter Sawyer, AIA, NCARB, to a five-year term on the Board of Architecture. Sawyer, a graduate of North Carolina State University, is a principal with 310 Architecture + Interiors. He is a true expert in construction documents, building codes and contract administration, Walter has received multiple, regional first place awards from the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) for producing drawings and specifications that are technically superior. He has earned a reputation in the field for smoothly and successfully managing complex, large-scale and budget sensitive projects. Walter provides quality assurance on all projects at 310, and ensures the technical accuracy of the firm’s design documents. As we welcome Walter to the Board, we bid a fond farewell to Robert Bishop as he completes five years of service for the Board of Architecture. Many thanks to Robert for his service.
